Reporting Copyright Infringement

PasteIndex respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond promptly to legitimate takedown notices. If you believe content shared via a PasteIndex link infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent using the contact method below.

What to Include in a Takedown Request

To be valid under the DMCA, your takedown notice must include the following information:

• Your full legal name and contact information (email address and physical mailing address)
• A detailed description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed
• The exact URL, paste ID, or link you want removed from our platform
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. Your counter-notification must include:

• Your name, address, and telephone number
• Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
• Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
• Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, PasteIndex will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We take copyright violations seriously and will take appropriate action against any user who repeatedly infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.
