1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PasteIndex ("the Service"), located at pasteindex.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PasteIndex is a web-based text sharing and encrypted link generation platform. The Service allows users to create temporary, encrypted text pastes and share them via unique URLs. We provide tools for client-side AES-256 encryption, password protection, auto-expiring links, and cloud mirror link sharing.
3. User Responsibilities
When using PasteIndex, you agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Not upload, share, or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Not use the Service to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service.
- Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service in a manner that could overload our infrastructure.
- Not use the Service for distributing malware, phishing attempts, or any form of cyber attack.
4. Prohibited Content
You may not use PasteIndex to create, store, or share content that:
- Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitative content.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal activities.
- Infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
- Contains personal or private information of others without their consent (doxxing).
- Distributes spam, malware, or phishing content.
We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate access for users who violate these terms without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PasteIndex and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of PasteIndex.
6. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of any content you create and share through PasteIndex. By using our Service, you grant PasteIndex a limited, non-exclusive license to process and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not access encrypted content, as we do not hold the decryption keys.
7. Privacy

8. Third-Party Advertising
PasteIndex displays advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. These advertisements may use cookies and similar technologies. Your interaction with third-party advertisements is governed by the respective third party's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party advertisers.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. PasteIndex does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content shared through the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PasteIndex, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
11. DMCA and Copyright
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content available through PasteIndex infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA takedown notice as described on our DMCA Policy page.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
